A 5-pound marine cable weight is primarily used to add tension to boat lift cables. Solid lead and designed to prevent cable bunching, tangling, or unwinding when the boat is out of the water.

To mount it, just take off the cable and slide the weight onto the desired spot.

Installation

1. Detach the cable from the boat lift drive pipe.
2. Slide the cable through the hole in the weight.
3. Reattach the cable to the boat lift drive pipe.
